Shipping policy

1. Shipping Provider

We use Aramex Store-to-Door courier services for deliveries within South Africa.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, courier operations, public holidays, weather conditions or other external factors.


2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders are not processed, packed or shipped on:

  • Weekends;
  • Public holidays;
  • During unforeseen operational delays.

We reserve the right to extend processing times during high-volume periods, promotions or peak seasons.


3. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time is:

8–11 business days after dispatch.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and are provided for guidance purposes only.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.


4. Delivery Delays

While we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated timeframe, Lux Africa is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier operational delays;
  • High shipment volumes;
  • Weather conditions;
  • Public holidays;
  • Customs or security inspections;
  • Strikes, protests or civil unrest;
  • Incorrect customer information;
  • Remote or outlying delivery areas;
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery delays do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks or compensation claims.


5. Customer Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • Accurate delivery information;
  • Correct contact details;
  • A safe and accessible delivery address.

Lux Africa will not be responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Additional courier charges for re-delivery or returned parcels may apply.


6. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery confirmation by the courier.

Lux Africa is not responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen parcels after confirmed delivery;
  • Unattended deliveries accepted at the delivery address;
  • Delays caused after handover to the courier.


7. Tracking Information

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent via email or SMS where available.

Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the courier tracking system.


8. Shipping Areas

We currently ship within South Africa.

Delivery availability to certain remote or high-risk areas may be limited or delayed depending on courier coverage.


9. Incorrect Addresses & Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address information;
  • Failure to collect;
  • Failed delivery attempts;
  • Refused delivery,

the customer may be responsible for additional shipping fees before the order can be resent.

Refunds on returned parcels may exclude original shipping and handling costs.
